Essential Oils Wholesale

Essential oils at wholesale prices can be purchased in bulk, often with free shipping and are great for stores and re-sale shops, ren faires, craft booths, street markets and more.

Essential Oils are highly concentrated and potent oils extracted from plants, leaves, flowers, roots, buds, twigs, rhizomes, heartwood, bark, resin, seeds and fruits.

Essential Oils are also found in special secretor glands or cells within plant life. The aromatic substances are formed and stored in certain organs of a plant as a by-product or because of its metabolism. Each essential oil has its very own blueprint that is absolutely unique. The combination of the plants blueprints, the energy of the sun, soil, air and water gives each oil, its individual perfume and beneficial healing properties. The same species of plant can produce an essential oil with different properties depending on whether it was grown in dry or damp earth, at high or low altitude, or even in hot or cold climates.

According to the International Organization for Standardization, essential oils are a “product made by distillation with either water or steam or by mechanical processing of citrus rinds or by dry distillation of natural materials”. Some essential oils are viscous; others are fairly solid and most are somewhat watery.

Worldwide there are 3000 different essential oils with only about 300 commonly used. The most popular essential oils wholesale would include Eucalyptus Oil. Ylang Ylang Oil, Rose Geranium Oil, Peppermint Oil, Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil, Clary Sage Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Chamomile Oil and Rosemary Oil.

Less popular essential oils wholesale include Bergamot Oil, Jasmine Oil, Cinnamon Oil, Patchouli Oil, Neroli Oil, Anise Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Frankincense Oil and Melissa Oil.

One of the ways bulk essential oils wholesale are sold and shipped is using aluminum canisters with pour spouts. Theses containers will hold approximately 176 ounces of essential oil or about 1 3/8 gallons. For an additional fee, smaller quantities of essential oils in 16 oz glass bottles can be purchased. If able to combine essential oil orders from family and friends, this can be a good way of obtaining essential oils at wholesale prices. All essential oils purchased this way are 100% pure and contain no carrier oils, pesticides of additives.

Before making a bulk purchase, it is recommended that essential oil samples are first tried out. Typically ½ oz bottle samples can be ordered for each essential oil. This is the least inexpensive way to evaluate the essential oil as bulk essential oils wholesale are usually non refundable.

Depending on which oil chosen, the bulk essential oil wholesale will cost anywhere from $100 to over $2000 per 1 3/8 gallon container.

An essential oil wholesale supplier is often able to provide information on pure essential oils and aromatherapy in general, but will not guarantee the information. The wholesaler is usually not a medical practitioner and therefore cannot dispense medical advice. Be sure to consult an aroma therapy medical practitioner before beginning any new aromatherapy treatments. Never apply any ESSENTIAL OIL directly to the skin.
