Aromatherapy, not so much

I was really excited about getting this puppy since lavender is one of my favorite scents. Too bad you can hardly smell anything. It might as well be just a regular plush. Directions read, "squeeze puppy's head and back to release scent," but even after several squeezes, the smell was very faint. You have to put the puppy right to your nose to smell anything. Also, the scent that was released was not lavender, rather something floral and spicy.
