Unique Smell

Review Date: September 15, 2005
Reviewer: Ria Darling, the Midwest
I always thought that if someone made a perfume that smelled like Bain de Soleil orange jellee they'd make a lot of money. This proves I was right. People always comment on how good it smells and how unique it is. It lasts for ages. I prefer this one to Coquette Tropique but it's a great, great scent. It's not just for summer but because it's an oil changes season by season
Balmy, Soft and Sweet

Monyette Paris is the inspiration of perfumeur, Tristan Brando, who worked successfully to capture the essence of gardenia aromas in the islands of French Polynesia. With its intoxicating, balmy scent and delightful packaging, Monyette Paris quickly developed a celebrity cult following.

Although Monyette Paris touts this essential oil as a warm floral embodying the French Polynesian lifestyle, my experience brought other scenes to mind. The essence of spring in Paris in the 1950s comes to mind when I first apply this softly charming girly fragrance oil. I envision myself in the elegant demure fashion of those days in Paris then add a beautifully coiffed Standard Poodle on a jeweled leash passing the flower markets at spring's first blush. Upon dry down, I imagine myself in the French countryside on a picnic frolicking in a field of fresh sweetness bordered by gardenia bushes and lily of the valley. These are the visions captured by my experience wearing Monyette Paris.

On my skin, the gardenia and Muguet de bois give off a soft old-fashioned sweetness, but the dry down is warm and creamier with a hint of vanilla calming the white florals.

Whether you experience the islands of French Polynesia, or my personal visions while wearing Monyette Paris, I believe this little jewel of a fragrance will evoke many pleasures and keep you coming back for more.

A few glasses of Merlot, some candles, and Monyette. You'll easily have your lover nuzzling your neck with enraptured adoration for hours...

I don't know what it is about this that I love so much. All I know is that the overall combination of scents = perfection! You'll find yourself craving a "hit" and sniffing your wrists all day. I only wish it came in a Pafum Spray.
pretty scent
