Neutrogena Fragrance Free Body Oil is the only product of its kind that is light enough to be used as a general moisturizer and versatile enough in its formulation to be combined with lotions and petrolatum. I have used this product for years and have tried to substitute others but nothing has been comparable. Additionally, it has no fragrance so does not compete with any perfume or other fragranced product that you might want to use.

If you have chronic dry skin but don't want to apply lotions or typical oils to your skin every day, then this is your best bet. I apply it after every shower just before drying off. It only takes an extra few seconds to apply a few drops on my arms and legs, but it makes a big difference in my skin comfort the rest of the day. It is made out of sesame oil, but somehow they make if much lighter than straight sesame oil which leaves a noticeably heavier feeling on the skin. As a man, I prefer the fragrance free version. I've searched for comparable products from all the competitors and from all of the natural and organic products out there, but no other company seems to make a similar product. Not even Wal-Mart with their "Equate" line of products. It seems a little pricey, but you you use so little each time that an 8.5 oz. bottle lasts several months.
